Checking a meeting against its goals

Daisy can read a meeting's transcript and tell you whether you reached the goals you set for it, with evidence drawn straight from what was said. Goals is no longer a separate section — it is now one of the Topics in the Coaching view, listed just after Team Lead.

Evaluate your goals

  1. Open the Coaching view and, under Meeting, pick the recording you want to check. Only meetings that have a transcript can be evaluated.
  2. Under Topic, select Goals to open the goals form.
  3. Type the goals you had for the call, one per line. For example:
    • Get sign-off on the Q3 budget
    • Agree on a launch date
    • Unblock the vendor contract
  4. Select Evaluate goals.

Reading the results

Daisy returns a short overall summary, then a card for each goal with a status and a line of feedback explaining the verdict:

  • MET — the goal was clearly reached.
  • PARTIAL — some progress, but not fully resolved.
  • NOT MET — the goal was not reached.
  • UNCLEAR — the transcript does not contain enough to judge.

Each card cites the relevant evidence so you can see why a goal landed where it did.

Good to know

  • Your goals are sent to the assessor as data, not as instructions. It can only judge them against the transcript, nothing else.
  • An UNCLEAR result usually means the goal was not discussed in enough detail, not that the goal failed. Rephrasing the goal more concretely can help.
  • Goals and the role-based topics are independent choices in the same picker, so you can run a coaching analysis and a goals check on the same meeting separately.
