Privacy & your data

Your meetings stay yours. Here's exactly where everything lives.

• Audio stays on your laptop as .wav files in the folder you chose. A compressed Opus copy is kept for playback; raw chunk WAVs are deleted after the transcript is finalized.
• Transcripts and summaries are saved as markdown in the same place. Nothing leaves your machine unless you press "Send to…" or use a cloud transcription provider.
• API keys are encrypted with your passphrase in a single file on disk. We can't read them.

Want zero outbound network? Use the local Whisper option for transcription.

Deleting a meeting

Action menu → Delete recording, confirmed by typing DELETE. This wipes the audio, transcripts, summary, notes, and search index for that session.
