Why isn’t it free really?
Free tools tend to pay for themselves with your data. Daisy asks for a modest fee instead, so your meetings stay yours — on-device, your model, no per-seat fee.
On-device by default
Recording, transcription, speaker identification, and search run on your machine. The only thing a cloud could charge you for, you already own — the hardware in front of you.
Your data, your disk
Recordings, transcripts, and notes live in a folder you choose, in open formats (.wav, .opus, markdown). Nothing is held on a server you can be locked out of.
No per-seat SaaS
Not a per-seat subscription that scales with your team and your meetings. One license covers you across your own devices.
Bring your own model
Summaries and Q&A run through the LLM you pick — a local model, or your own cloud key, billed to you directly. Daisy never proxies and never marks up the model.
A license you own
One license activates up to 3 of your own devices and is verified offline — Daisy checks a signed token on disk and never phones home to run.
No lock-in, ever
Cancel and your meetings don’t vanish — they were never on our servers to begin with. The files stay yours; move them, back them up, keep them forever.

- 1.Deleted the app? Your meetings are still on your disk in the folder you chose — they were never on our servers. Re-download Daisy and point it back at that folder; everything is exactly where you left it.
- 2.Trial still running? Keep recording — when it's time, a license unlocks the app for good on up to 3 devices.
